Simple tips for REALTORS® wanting greater social media success.

One of the most significant opportunities for success in today’s digital landscape is social media. It’s not an ingredient in your marketing mix you want to overlook. Done correctly, you can reach and connect with new customers you might never have had an opportunity to meet before. Done incorrectly, and it can be a colossal waste of your time and resources.

Way back in 2006, I read a book entitled “Waiting For Your Cat To Bark?” That book, along with another one entitled “Long Tail,” were both excellent examples of marketing in the new world of digital social engagement. The bottom line? It’s about relationships and authenticity. The leads you capture via your social media engagement may take a long route. Taking the time to review your social media strategy and setting aside some time every day to give it proper attention can go a long way toward helping you meet your goals. Leslie Mann, a Realtor® with Sotheby’s in Weston, MA, penned a great guest article on Hubspot that covers excellent strategies for real estate social media. With great tips like “Promote The Town, Not The House,” it’s a great place to get started or bolster your current strategy.
